About Me

I am a young photographer who loves to get lost in new cities and I am here to meet interesting people, while I am travelling, and know where the cool places are. I love poetry, cinema, theatre and longboard! I am also a vegan activist (street activism and save movement mainly), so if you want to talk about I would be happy, if not there are a lot of other topics to speak about!
If you want we can take a coffe and meet each other before decide if you want to host me. Or just take the coffee and have a good time. Feel free to check my instagram @makspariva See you soon! ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling but not sightseeing, important buildings usually are the most boring ones for me. I want to meet interesting locals, and share points of view about almost anything. I want to grow up as a person and make friends on the way, not just add countries to my “travel list”.
Once I lost my credit card in Bangkok, and I had amazing experiences for 15 days there because of wonderful and kind people. I really met many people and places, instead staying in a expensive hostel and partying at night with other tourists in the main street of travelers (Kao San road).

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music changes a lot, now I love latin jazz but I was used to listen more indie and rock. Always up for psychodelic music, and my favorite group is Alt-J :D

Léolo is my favourite film ever. I like good stories with artistic cinematography. The last films I watch are always in my top for a while: Shape of water, I Tonya, La novia, Youth.

I also like series, ‘Please, like me’ ‘Skins’ ‘Homeless’ and ‘Bojack Horseman’ are my favourite ones.

I was a good reader but then I dropped it, my favourite book was ‘The fragility’ of Foenkinos and ‘The steparian wolf’ of Hesse. If you have any good suggestions of a passionate story please tell me! Nowadays I just read poetry, I don’t get caught by novels, and it’s sad for me :(

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I organized a cultural festival in Madrid, and a TEDx talk :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share with you anything I learnt about photography if you are interested in, some funny stories of my travels or information about how erasmus+ youth exchanges works!
I would love to listen your stories, and have a good time speaking about almost anything from series to deep topics (I like to know what other people think about live, love and these kind of stuff) And if you could teach me any dance move I would be super happy.

I don’t know really how to cook and I also would love to learn. If you want a portrait, for sure I could make it.
:)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am an extroverted and funny person, I guess a good talk is the start and then it depends on us. It’s my first time using CS, but I already saw some profiles and I think I can make very good friends here. Also the “Sharing is caring” motto is one of my favourites and I believe that non formal education is the best one. And in Madrid I want to host too but first a coffee or a short talk, if I already met you, you could contact me directly. (I’m used to host friends from other countries that pass by, but I still live with my family so they won’t accept strangers).

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, India, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
