About Me
Hello there!
My friends say that wherever I go, there will probably be a person I have already met somewhere in my life (and then there is also Six Degrees of Separation Theory 😂). I am often described as a creative and friendly person, cheerful and quite enthusiastic about life. I like taking photographs and meeting different people, cultures and customs. I also really enjoy swimming and indulging myself wholeheartedly in the simple pleasures of being by the sea. I speak Serbian, English, Spanish and French, and I have recently started learning Italian.
I am a lawyer working in clinical trials industry and my working environment is also very international. Besides that, I teach English and Serbian language to foreigners. Due to a great interest in culture, languages, diplomacy and art, I have completed my master program in cultural policy and management in Lyon (where I met some amazing people that I now call my friends). Speaking of culture, I love going to the theatre, cinema and concerts.
My passion for traveling further developed when I was 18 and especially as a student, attending Model UN conferences and summer language schools. I went to Enforex School of Spanish language and culture in Valencia, Malaga and Barcelona for three years in a row, having students from all around the world as classmates and I remained friends with many of them until this day (especially with a dear group of Brazilians and Belgians!). Since then I explored a lot of new places in about 30 countries, and met some of the most wonderful people along the way!
I am also an adventurer and often plan trips in short periods of time. Going out and experiencing vibrant local bars, clubs and outdoor spaces for partying is also on top of my list, coming from Belgrade, the European capital of nightlife. I love making new friends, having meaningful conversations to actually get to know the other person, sharing interesting stories and overall enjoying life. 😊
Couchsurfing has brought me so many great encounters with genuinely good people which really restores my faith in the future of mankind!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During my travels, I realized the best way to learn about the country and get to know the places you are visiting is to meet the locals. The tips you get and experiences you share are priceless. I like sharing stories about the culture and life in my city and country, to give useful advice on where to go, what to see, which food to try and what to drink... I really enjoy when someone does the same for me when I travel. Plus, it’s amazing how many fantastic people are out there and making friends is something I aim for. Life is all about those little moments we share.
P.s. Please do not reach out to me if you are using CS as a dating app, thanks!
