Hello there.

My name is Marcis, and this is my story.

I grew up in a small village in countryside. In our childhood I had as much everything I needed and we had no internet or computers since I was 14, so I'd say I had a perfect childhood hanging around with my friends and playing any kinds of sports games.

My passion for sports grew bigger as I become older and I started to train and play basketball hard. This is still one of my biggest passions, but only for stretching muscles and having fun with my teammates and friends. In high school, together with one of my best friends we started to organize independent basketball tournament which had unexpected success in our school. Even local TV came to visit us, so this was a big deal! After high school I went to our capital city Riga to learn Audiovisual Media Arts - bachelor's degree. At that point I didn't know why. Now I know.

This has been an incredible journey till this point and it still continues to grow. In those years I have traveled a lot, met amazing people, saw places I never knew existed - and all those experiences had made me wander and dream every day - about new people I will meet, places I'll see and experiences I'll gain. It's never-ending cycle as long as there are the unknown. And that is all what matters to me. To see, to grow, to develop myself through traveling.

Through my filmmaking business I had traveled a lot in Europe, but in 2018 together with my girlfriend we made a decision to book a one-way trip to Asia and then hopefully come back to Europe. Because we have nothing to lose and a World to see. UAE, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Nepal is on our list and this goes on...
