About Me

24 years old. Living in Istanbul, Turkey. Studying business in Marmara University and someone who has a great passion for travelling the world. I found couchsurfing so late but it became the best network for me immediately. Id love to show my beautiful city(believe me it’s way more beautiful than you can ever imagine) to other couchsurfers. I’d love to make new friends as well. How can a wanderer be a bad person!?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m looking forward to meet with people who live in the city i visit. I dont think that visiting a city by staying at the hotel and travel with a guide will give you anything. The best way for getting know the city is talking with the locals, observing them and of course getting lost!
Ps. I know how much bad thoughts you might have for turkish people. Until you meet me. Im here to chance those ideas you have. Happened many times before, why not you this time...

Interests

Cars and Italian comics. To make it as an italian triangle i can say food as well! Im one of the guys who eats for pleasure, not for survival!

Music, Movies, and Books

Every book that about Gonzo journalism and Beat Generation. They gave me the vision to wander the world!
As my generations classics; LOTR and Harry Potter
Ken Grimwood’s “Replay”
The Rom Diary by Hunter S. Thompson
I listen all kind of music but a huge of The xx.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learning German! Other than Germans everybody knows how hard it is :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to live like a real Turk. Instead of starting your day with just a coffee, start it with an amazing breakfast and then the coffee.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As Istanbul is a huge city, i had chance to live on the both sides of the city due to my education. So we can wander around the city! If you like we can talk about history, politics, football or games. You just open a topic, I’ll contribute if i know it :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Montenegro, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey
