Overview
About Me
Traveled to Asia in Spring 2018. That was a cool trip. Let me know if you pass through Prague.
Scientist, love coffee, I cook often, though not having a Michelin star at my kitchen, several people (more than 3, so this is not anymore anecdotal evidence) have said I cook well. I enjoy classical music, jazz, or rock (I would even go for pop). I think "world music" is awesome. I travel to learn about different cultures. I do sport often (3-4 times a week), and enjoy hanging out with my friends. One of the best parts of my life, is hanging out with my son.
Forest is a plus.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Two main reasons for this, first is that locals will give you a better glimpse of their city/country/culture (triple c? :D). Definitely this comes handy for budget, especially if you plan to travel for almost 3 months!

Music, Movies, and Books
Quite a bunch of things, depending on the mood, but lately visiting Opera quite often, or Jazz concerts. Besides that I have a trail of heavy metal on Spotify, or whichever type of word you put before metal, I probably like it. I love Metallica, or Pearl Jam, or Apocaliptica, or Audioslave, or Jose Gonzalez, or Jack Johnson, or Zaz. Really, depends on the mood.
And since beginning of 2018 I'm crazy about dancing bachata and salsa (kizomba is good as well).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Have a son. Climbed a volcano. Researching about the rainforest.
Teach, Learn, Share
Open eggs with one hand. Peel garlic without knife. Remove the garlic smell without soap (indeed, host me). I travel with my camera, so I can take you portrait pictures at your city. Let's take a walk at interesting locations (you can show me the cool sights, and I make you pictures). OK, I'm not professional, just a hobby, but I also charge nothing and is always nice to have some photographs that are not selfies.
Though my salsa is quite basic, I can show you that (if you are not a pro). Much more proficient in bachata. Would you like to learn? I teach you the basics of kizomba.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories about living in Iraq or Kazakhstan (really, the one in Iraq when I was close to get to interrogation for one night is quite amazing)(and funny).
I do very good gazpacho, tortilla de patatas, or "fish on salt at the oven". We could really exchange recipes. Yes, I master "peanut-butter" preparation (only if you have a blender). Halloween pumpkins by request. ;)
If interested, I also work in "antibiotic resistance" (no, I just bring the good bacteria with me), so I can elaborate. Geek is the new cool.
Bachatero passionate dancer, salsa lover.
