Overview
About Me
My name is Frederik, I am currently studying Anthropology at Copenhagen University. I would really like to host travelers in my home in Nivå.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have met many new friends using Couchsurfing, and I think it's an interesting way to travel, especially because you get to meet locals and go 'off the beaten path'. I learn something new from every host and I think that's quite cool.
Interests
I like to travel, especially in places surrounded by nature such as mountains, forest, lakes etc. - away from the bustling city life. I can unwind and calm my mind. That said, I also enjoy being in the city.
- cooking
- reading
- hiking
- camping
- hitchhiking
- travelling
- meeting new people
- meeting locals
- floorball
Music, Movies, and Books
No favorite book, since most (good) books have something uniquely interesting about them.
I like all kinds of music really. My knowledge of the different genres is not so wide, so I'm generally open for new impressions.
I don't have a favorite movie genre, more like a few movies - my favorite is 'The Intouchables'
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Watching the sun rise over a sea of clouds in SaPa, Vietnam
- Traveling through Russia from West to East by train
- Teaching English for two months in Hanoi
- Hiking 200km on Camino Santiago in Spain
- Volunteering at a resort in Shikoku, Japan
- Biking around in Denmark for 3,5 months, getting to know my home country better
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to cook, I usually just make something healthy with whatever is available. I like discussing all kinds of cultural topics.
Also, I'm good at listening. Especially if I find a topic or a story particularly interesting.
