Interests

Since a little I’ve always been a creative kid, even my text books were filled with my doodles and random sketch. I’m into arts in general, photography, films, graphic designs, style, and cultures. I like to meet new people even though I have to disclaim that I’m introverted and a little bit quiet but once I get along with someone I can spend talking and having laugh for a night. Life is amazing and mysterious, I feel that meeting with people from different cultural and national backgrounds are insightful knowledge for me to have more open-mindedness and compassion within the world we’re living in.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to almost every kinds of music. I’m not good at classifying genres but I like to listen from the classics such as Beatles, Nirvana, and Frank Sinatra to more recent artists ranging from Tame Impala to Arctic Monkeys to Kendrick and to FKJ. That’s just how diverse my taste is.

In terms of movies I love rewatching classics from the likes of Tarantino, Kubrick, and Danny Boyle for their distinctive cinematography and unexpected plot. I’m also after movies directed by Wes Anderson for the well-thought colours and composition and ones made by Studio Ghibli for the moral of their stories and their dark approach to child animation.

I’m not really into reading books but I sometimes enjoy reading about self-development, arts, and creativity but not really into fiction and romance kind of books. But would love to hear what people really recommend to read so I could turn myself into books enthusiast.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach my native language (Bahasa Indonesia) if you’re interested with it and I can share my knowledge in photography and editing. I have a good sense of aesthetic in anything so if you need help in anything related to that such as rearranging interior or furnitures, taking a good photograph, or picking a good gift for someone I’ll be more than happy to help :).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to cook and I like to clean up and tidy up places (esp my room) to keep the places comfortable to stay in. I could definitely do both things at your place with my pleasure. And I would give small souvenirs from my country of origin to anyone who’d host me. I could treat a beer or two if you’re drinking too :)
