Hi, my name is Elvin and I'm from Switzerland. I'm a young guy who wants to discover the world so that I can find my own philosophy and way. I always choose the risky rather than the safe way; I'm in for new adventures in every part of my life. That's why I didn't start studying at a university, but saved money for travelling. I already had amazing experiences and am looking forward to new ones!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing respresents for me a platform to meet new people, especially locals.

As a tourist and stranger, it's hard to get to know local people; They often remain among themselves. But with Couchsurfing, I have the opportunity to meet locals and to even stay at their apartment and see how they are living! For me, this is a big gift and I appreciate every local doing it; This is so generous and friendly!

Since I had really good experiences with staying at other Couchsurfers places, I would like to offer the same service and am open now to host you!

Interests

My biggest passion is personal development. I'm trying to improve my character, to look at my emotional issues and to find my own path of life. There's a lot more to that, but this is enough for an introduction ;)

I'm interested in good conversation. I love talking about life and it's challenges; good and bad moments.

I believe that I can learn something from every person; maybe you can offer me a new perspective or way of life?

I attend breakdance and hip hop classes every week and learn how to defense myself in Krav Maga.
I love Kitesurfing and am looking forward to my next surfing trip.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One moment strikes through my mind when thinking about an amazing moment in my life.

Last summer, I learned how to Kitesurf in Amrum, Germany. After a couple of days, I was able to drive without falling back into the water.
In one moment, while speeding through the water, the world stood still: There was really only me and the elements. No future, no past; only me smiling and enjoying the very moment.

This is a moment I'll never forget.
