I'm a traveller and a storyteller. I want to show my contemporaries what's going on in the world, so they can make intelligent decisions about how to change it. I try to paint a tableau; I love contradictions and complexity, and hate the news media for pretending there is a single storyline to a story when there are several. I have published a number of articles as a freelancer, and am a specialist in getting to places with no money. I have a background as a fighter for social justice and the environment, and this is still part of who I am.
