About Me

I'm a 22 year old student at Konstanz University. Been here a while and would like to share my town with people who’d like to see it and especially get to know the town with someone who lives here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling can be very expensive, with all the cost of food, accomantation, petrol etc. I hope that couchsurfing can give the opportunity to save a bit while traveling. I’ve been a couchsurfer before and I’d like people to stay with me now.

Interests

  • socializing
  • meeting people
  • sharing stories
  • exchanging ideas
  • sharing experiences

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm listening to all kinds of music, especially indie music or alternative.
I'm not that much into movies but of course I will watch them when I find the time. I like to watch dramas and movies about real life events. not so much science fiction. It has to be a meaningful storyline and a demanding and interesting dialog.
I've have read all kinds of books, mostly thriller or dramas. I like it if the book has an ambitious plot and makes you think about the situation or the problem. To me, a good book needs to be relatable.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess travelling itself and having the opportunity to travel is an amazing thing already, but being brave enough to actually do it is an amazing thing. It takes a lot to hop out of your comfort zone if you'd rather stay for yourself and mind your own buisness. But interact with people on a different level and to feel the needs and problems of someone else and not only yourself is wonderful, growing is wonderful and it helps you to accept people's opinon even more. If there is one thing amazing I've done, than it's travelling.

Teach, Learn, Share

Being able to let people into your life, into the place that you're living in, is a very intimate thing to do. It has a lot do to with learning. Being exposed like that is all about trust in other people and growing out of your fear. Letting your defense down while letting someone in your own four walls and giving away a bit of your safety. But by doing this you can teach people to be braver than they normally would be and that's a beautiful thing if you think about it. And being able to share such an experience with a stranger let's us grow stronger together into a collective.

What I Can Share with Hosts

That being with strangers can help you develope a different view on people and the world. That is doesn't matter who you are or where you are from, you are welcome in my house and my life with all your problems and all your experiences that you can share. Sometimes a stranger can be a friend, more than someone you've known all your life, because he doesn't judge you or your life because he just doesn't know anything about it and you will be able to talk about things on a different level and form a bond. That is what I can offer and of course anything else they will need me to do while I'm staying with them.
