About Me

How shall the human species live with the natural world? [An echoing rhetoric]

I'm a biologist at heart and that means I care deeply for LIFE. I'll quote naturalist E.O. Wilson for I strongly hang on to his statement, "The natural world has always been my greatest love. If a biologist can't fight for it, who can?"
...
I have an obsession with digging deep, scrapping superficiality and discovering what's REAL in all sense of the world.
I crave for learning. It doesn't have to be academic. Just trying to think well mostly for myself. If I can't think well then there's a possibility that I will be a danger rather than a help for this apparent chaotic society.

One of my many ambitions is to explore a different method of learning for kids. Try to get them reconnect with the great outdoors, let them reflect about themselves and their position in this world. The children need to run. They need to hold plants, touch the ocean, appreciate the beauty of their true home. It's a challenging project but I'm up for this uneasy path.

I like to bury myself in books and cave inside a library, but when I get tired of it, I enjoy meaningful engagements with people.

However mature I believe I am, I still carry with me my childlike tendencies. Terribly clumsy, easily lost with directions, mad when hungry, impulsive and careless. I sometimes fantasize about living underwater.

Travel is important. It must be done with the right mindset otherwise the point is useless.
