I love traveling. I grew up as a military child and had to move every few years or so, but the longest I've lived in a place was in Japan (for 8 years). I am an engineering student at the University of Vermont, but I go "home" to California for the holidays. This spring semester I was abroad in Bilbao, Spain and had the amazing opportunity to travel a bit around Europe. I love the outdoors and learning new things!

At the end of May, my boyfriend and I will be going on a road trip from California to Vermont. I am planning on going through Utah (zion), Arizona (grand canyon), Colorado, Nebraska, Illinois, Toronto, etc. Although my route is flexible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Other than having a tight budget as a student, I think traveling is so much more than just being able to visit a place and do all the touristy things. A quick google search can fulfill that aspect of traveling. A huge part of the whole experience is meeting new people, sharing stories, getting inspired, etc. I'm pretty new at couch surfing, but I'd love to give it a try!
