Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in South Africa, which according to me, is the coolest country in the world. I've lived in Pretoria and Stellenbosch (which is close to Cape Town), and have travelled extensively throughout South Africa (from little ghost towns in the semi-arid Karoo, to the greens of Mpumalanga). I'm a very curious individual, so I love travelling and discovering new things. I am also crazy about animals; my two favourite animals, apart from my dogs, are pandas and cheetahs (but if you give me enough time, I might just start listing all of Noah's ark as my favourite animals). I love being in the mountains and my dream home is in the Transkei, were I have mountains behind me and the sea in front of me. I'm also always game for a board game (as long as it is not Monopoly).
The five people I'll invite to my fantasy dinner are:
- Stan Lee
- Steven Spielberg
- Walt Disney
- Dave Grohl
- Paul McCartney
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think the best way to experience and explore a new place is by meeting up with the locals (they always know where the hidden gems are located). I've also met the coolest people through friends of mine that have either hosted or couchsurfed themselves. This has definitely encourage me to try it for myself
