I'm originally from Vancouver, Canada, but I studied in Ottawa. Currently I am doing an exchange in Galway, Ireland for a semester. I have travelled my whole life thanks to my wonderful parents and continue to adventure between my studies and semesters. I became an elephant fanatic after volunteering in Thailand on an elephant sanctuary, but I am all around a crazy animal person. I spent 4 months living in Bali in this last year and absolutely loved my experience there. I love meeting new people and trying new things, I find that's the best part of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I am a student, traveling isn't always feasible, but couch surfing definitely helps. It also helps with meeting folks and creates a community of like-minded people.

I befriended a macaw named Willy in the Amazon jungle of Peru.
