Hello! My English name is Claire. I am a Taiwanese girl, and I learn and speak English. I grow up and have studied in Taiwan for 20 years, and I am now having my exchange in Spain. I like to travel, to make new friends, to experience different cultures, and I also like to cook and share Taiwanese dishes! While I am not a native speaker in English (not that fluent, haha), I am still open minded and would try my best to chat fluently. And that is also a reason why I like to travel! I am positive, warm, easygoing, funny, and somewhat humble. I hope I can discover the beautiful world in my way, protect our environment, and relish every adorable moment :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all, to be frank, as a student without much money, Couchsurfing is really a good way to reduce traveling expenditure. But I understand that no one is supposed to offer me free space to sleep and even spend time on me, therefore I will be very appreciated and be a nice couchsurfer.

Secondly, I would like to meet different people and to experience different culture, so Couchsurfing is one of the best ways! But till now I am still living with my family, so it is not very convenient to come to my place. Instead, I have an auntie around 45 years old who lives with her only son and really near my house. She will be very glad to be a host, and her sofa is really cozy :-D Her English is at the beginning level, but she had traveled to Europe twice. She will be very happy if Couchsurfers teach or practice English with her:-) If you are interested, just let me know.
