I am a quiet person, keen to help and listen to others in order to learn from them and myself in the process.

I am a student of Material Science and Engineering at the Costa Rica Institute of Technology. In the past I have also studied some Communication Sciences and I have a background in language and translation skills, attained mostly on my own. I offer english-spanish translation services to my institution, which has helped me build upon specific interests in my fields.

My natural interest in language and communication, of course, extends to cultural and artistic exchange. I deeply enjoy music and have had exposure to a wide variety of styles and musical instruments. I also enjoy poetry and writing and I dream of giving shape to a musical instrument of my own invention, so I can carry out an artistic project parallel to my academic carreer in engineering.

Currently, I am interested in further developing my knowledge in French and, maybe, learn some German, so as to enrich my academic knowledge abroad in the future and perhaps help others learn about applications of my fields of study.

Experiencing foreign cultures and places is crucial to my inspiration as a student and an artist. I look forward to help with anything I know and to benefit from everything I have yet to discover.
