About Me

Hello, I'm chilean (half brazilian), currently studying and living in France. I love arts -books, movies, poetry, photography, music, paintings, you name it-, traveling and nature. As everyone I guess, I'm looking for "new experiences", just not commercial and touristy ones. I'm usually more of the calm and kind type but when traveling I'm rather full of energy haha

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Demian by H. Hesse, The Unbearable Lightness of Being by M. Kundera, The Final Meeting by S. Marai, Pedro Páramo, by J. Rulfo, The Reader, by B. Schlink.
I'm also in love with Cortázar, Genet, Borges, Neruda, Camus, Girondo, Huidobro, Vallejo, Sweig, Bombal... I really love books haha

Music: The Police, Spinetta, Caetano Veloso. Also into rock, indie, MPB, jazz, classical music, rap, pop in general.

Movies: hard to say, but well. The lobster, Only lovers left alive, In the mood for love, Another Earth, Dark blue almost black, Young & Wild. Discovering "classics" lately, not much into blockbuster movies.

I also love science fiction in all of its forms (even though I prefer hard sci fi): Orwell, Huxley, Asimov, but also Black Mirror, The OA or The hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy .

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can help with learning spanish and french in a more demanding way if needed, and I can practice portuguese and english.

Learn: I would love to practice my english. I'm really curious about anything, really: from ideas to crafts.

What I Can Share with Hosts

One of the things I love the most is to have interesting conversations about life, art, politics, philosophy, anything really, and I hope all the practice has made me good at it hahaha
I love to cook (vegetarian) even if I don't know a lot of dishes yet.
I also know a lot of Latin America (some because of traveling, but mostly because I have friend all over the continent) in case you're planning to travel there.
