Overview
About Me
I'm a student from the Czech Republic. I'm looking for new experiences and I want to see as much of the world as possible.
I have a lot of hobbies but, unfortunately, also a lack of strong will, so I skip from one to the other and have a problem to finish something or learn some skill properly. These are activities such as writing a diary, playing ukulele, handpoke tattoos, longboarding, many diy projects or learning to cook. The list goes on and on and I hope that with Couchsurfing I will be able to cross one thing off. I also try to push myself forward in sports - now I am trying to jog at least three times a week, so maybe we could go for a run?
I am passionate about doodling (althought it might sound weird), stationeries, cafés, walks through beautiful cities or nature, modern art, home design and analog photography. I am also a big fan of desk games, though I have to admit - I don't like losing. O:) I love animals and sunny, warm weather, I enjoy good food, tea, coffee or wine. I have a lot of dreams, one of them is to write and ilustrate a children book.
By the way, check out my instagram, I think it says a lot about me @terkahoff (a little self promo hahah).
I can be shy sometimes, because I'm not very confident about my English, but that's also a reason why I decided for Couchsurfing - to step out of my comfort zone and improve my communicating skills.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd like to travel and explore the world, but as a student I try not to spend too much when it's not necessary. I'd also love to meet local people and see the city in different than the typical tourist kind of view. I would be super happy if you were willing to give me some tips or even join me on my trip. I would be glad to make friends with you and one day hopefully, even host you in Prague (I live with my roomate in a very small but lovely flat at the moment). I am interested in other people's experiences, foreign culture or meals, sharing stories and tips.

Music, Movies, and Books
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Tracy’s Tiger, Animal Farm and many more. I also like Nordic detectives by Lars Kepler, Jo Nesbø, Stieg Larsson..
Wes Anderson's films, documentaries, last film I saw that really moved me was Perfect Strangers.
I like almost all genres of music, it depends on my mood, situation, company... One day I listen to grime and rap while walking the streets feeling like a member of some cool gang, another day I'm home alone dancing in the nostalgic rhytms of 90's tunes.
I used to play the piano and I love the sound of it - Ludovico Einaudi, Brian Crain, Alexandre Desplat... I enjoy even classical music.
Some of my favorites are Alt_J, IAMDDB, Banks, Disclosure, Chet Faker, Justice, Dennis Lloyd, Masego, Years & Years, Melanie Martinez, Major Lazer, Lana Del Rey, Jain, Two Feet... see? Just started and it's already too much. :D
But feel free to show me more! I'd love to know what kind of music you listen to and I'm opened to everything.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would be grateful for anything you could teach me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can give you a badly drawn portrait, teach you some Czech words or prepare some delicious breakfast. But most importantly, I would like to share my time.
