About Me

Hello folks,

My name is Bruno F. Santos (most know as Bruno), it has been 18 years since I was born and I'm from the most beautiful city in the world, Porto, in Portugal - at least that's what the locals say 😀

As a former hyperactive and as an actual person who couldn't live an ordinary life I'm always seeking the self-improvement, which justifies my life motto - facito aliquid operis, ut te semper diabolus inveniat occupatum - which in human language means "always do something, so the devil always finds you occupied". Is Latin still sounding smart?

As a poker lover, I adopt the "All-In" strategy to the real life. Anything you suggest I will for sure be very likely to do it and "be in".

I'm currently studying Economics and working as a Digital Marketeer in a local company. I usually use my spare time surfing, playing the guitar, reading books, going to music concerts, fortifying my relationship with Nature and daydreaming about traveling. I'm a very easygoing person, not fussy at all - I won't mind sleeping on your floor, that's how comfortable I am pretty much everywhere.

I was a Scout when I was younger but I don't have any Baden Powell quote to share with you, at least that I can remember. I'm a fan of interesting conversations about pretty much everything - give me your best insights, I'll give you mine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always been dreaming about touching every country in the world with my shoe's sole and with Couchsurfing the process has definitely been facilitated. I'm surely looking forward to meet the awesome people of the planet Earth and each piece of land that I can.

As the "Give and Take" law demands, I'm also using Couchsurfing to host people that I think that I could have a great experience with and maximize their experience in my hometown or wherever I'm living that I can host them.

Music, Movies, and Books

This is, theoretically, the most cliché section but I won't skip it - there's always a place to brag about the things that we like:

Music: Jazz, Blues, Indie Rock, R&B and Classic Music most of the time, but I pretty much hear anything, always depends on the mood I'm currently at. Pass me the AUX Cord and you won't be disappointed.

Movies and TV Series: Into the Wild, 12 Angry Men, Interstellar, Inception, Dead Poets Society, Fight Club, Touching the Void, Breaking Bad, House of Cards, The Prestige.

Books: 1984, Brave New World, Evicted, A Better Human, When Breath Becomes Air, Being Mortal

Well... now that we've passed the trivial section, I would like to add one more sub-section, which stands for my favorite Youtube Video Comment ever: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6dnI1WsFrA&lc=UgicsDhgbM1Ui3gCoAEC

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'll have the best pleasure in the world to cook some traditional portuguese recipes for you and have you taste the best food in the world. Also, whenever I'm hosting you and I have spare time I'll show you every special place of my hometown.

If you bring a guitar or a surfboard with you, you must expect to play some songs with me or/and go surfing! 🏄🏽🎸
