About Me

I and my husband (Filipe) are world travel lovers. We are Brazilians, he is from Governador Valadares (MG) and I'm from Porto Alegre (RS), but we are permanently living in Boca Raton (FL/USA). We meet 4 years ago and we have been married for 2 years. I'm an architecture student and my husband is a businessman. As a young couple, our goal is to travel the world, learn new cultures, and make friends. That's why we don't waste any break from my school to plan a new trip. Our favorite thing to do when we are traveling is to go visit rustic towns where we can really see and experience how locals live their lives, their food, economy and etc. But of course, we also travel to see the tourist attractions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Usually, when traveling we always stay in a hotel or Airbnb, until a friend told us about Couchsurfing, I thought it very interesting and nice how people open up their house to receive guests. We decided to try Couchsurfing, not just because we can save some money to travel more, but also because of the opportunity to get to know new people, and who knows to make friends for life...
