About Me
Hey there! I'm Alessandra and I'm 26 on the outside but a modern Italian grandma on the inside. I was born in the south of Italy close to Naples and when I was 8 years old I moved to the north, close to Venice. I recently moved to the United States, specifically to PA to be an Au Pair. I left my comfort zone back in Italy with the hope to understand and accept as many things as I can about myself. I've always loved to travel but my previous jobs wouldn't allow me to do it much, so I quit and decided to get in this adventure. I am very proud of my self and of my trips so far. A lot more to do, tho. :) I have a pretty strong accent but I can cook pasta if it helps :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing because I’d like to visit places more like a traveler than just a tourist. I love to meet new people and I absolutely adore to hear their stories.
I can't host anyone because I live with a host family but If you're around Philly and you want to hang out, hit me up and I could show something around.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am addicted to music. I really listen to everything even if lately my fav genre is R&B. I found at least one verse in each song that can describe my actual mood or a part of me. My fav movies are The Terminal and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I can't watch horror movies at all because I am very susceptible. Boooo. Don't even make me start talking about TV shows because I have so many.
I enjoy reading a lot. I have many books back at home, ordered by the color of the cover. I have a little obsession with Salinger, tho. Ten years ago I fell in love with Holden.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Kayak during the night in Vieques (Puerto Rico) to see the luminescence biobay.
