Travelling? I'm first at all a nature lover, and for ecological reasons, I like to stay very near at home. But my boyfriend, Koen De Belie, is an absolute traveller, and he makes me realize how travelling is a way to discover myself again in a different way because I am in a different place.
People describe me as a enthousiastic person, warm and spontaneous, but it's also true that I 'm a person who doens't like to take risks. And that 's what travelling is all about: taking risks!
Of course the mighty beauty of nature and the mountains invite me to take more risks.
I adore woods, I feel like I am at home in a wood. Not for nothing, I gave myself the artistname "Woodnymf" as a fairie of the woods. I also love very much fantasy and stories, and so i became a storyteller. But I see very cleary the difference between fantasy and reality!
In communication , I prefer very open, direct and clear communication.
I think I am a idealist, I desire to a better, more fair and healthier world, a peaceful world, and I have still a long way to go to accept that that world that I want, will never come true. I really dislike people who wants to convert me to their religion or belief . . .
Although I'am someone who loves to talk, I also like to introspect, and to go for personal growth.
I adore to be a part of a group, and to have sociabilty.
But most at all, I am a nature lover, I love to spot birds and all kind of animals, except poisonous snakes . . .
When I am in a wood, I never feel alone.
The big problem is: my oriëntation is a disaster, so I always get lost . . .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When i heard about couchsurfing, I was excited! What a proof that there is so many kindness and hospitality in this world! I want to be a part of that hospitalitynetwork too.

As I am used to teach my language at so many different people of different countries, all over the world, I also like to meet them in at home.

Books: Hasse Simonsdochter of Thea Beckman, and the most of Thea Beckman, I also like Maeve Binchy and Jan Terlouw and "Het Erfgoed" van Christopher Paolini.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am not a hero, I don't think I did amazing heroic things, but for me the discovery that guiding in nature is my first nature and later, the discovery that I love the teach adult persons , are the most amazing discoveries I did.
People make enthousiastic about nature, about which plants you can eat,
Telling stories, and touch people with these stories is my second nature.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you are interested in nature, in plants that you can eat, in trees and their symbolism, the rituals that belong to trees, or the tales, . . . then I can probably learn you something.
Also, if you want to learn Dutch, that's my job, and I love to do it!
I have a bit historical knowledge, because I began to study archeology, but I did not finish it. So I don't have a diploma of it.
I'm also home in al lot of alternative therapies, and as I stand with one foot in the classic way and with the other foot in the alternative way, I can compare and tell about experience.
People say that I have therapistic qualities and that I'm a natural coach . . .
