I an a Visiting Scholar at the University of California, Santa Barbara, originally from the UK. During my year studying abroad, I have been fascinated by the similarities (and differences) between European and American culture. I have been touched at how friendly the West coast culture is, and have been inspired to become a member of Couch Surfing because of this!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have finished the academic year and am setting off on a journey up the west coast before I start a summer internship in New York! I would love to be immersed in west coast culture before I jet off to the 'next' best coast!
