I am Brazilian, 50 years old, I love traveling and discovering new cultures and customs.
I'm from Rio, I live in the western part of the city, a lover of simple things and passionate about life. For me, a trip goes far beyond knowing the main tourist attractions. It is an opportunity to get to know and experience experiences and stories. Whoever they are and whoever they are.
As a host, I am a friendly, sociable and fun person. An authentic Rio citizen, duly certified, who likes to talk, laugh and make fun. In and out of the house. I like to make friends, spend the day at the beach, go out drinking and show my city, our way of being (just walking around, pedaling, trekking or climbing mountains). I also love reading, music and cinema (one of my biggest passions).
I admire people devoid of judgment or any kind of prejudice. Sexual, political or religious orientation does not define us. After all, I do not believe in absolute truths, nor do I believe that anyone owns them.
In short, my philosophy of life is: Live and let Live. After all, we did not come to this planet to survive, but to live an abundant and, why not say, adventurous lifestyle. Being able to save on hosting, even better.

Sou carioca, moro na zona oeste da cidade, amante das coisas simples e apaixonado pela vida. Para mim, uma viagem vai muito além de conhecer os principais atrativos turísticos. É uma oportunidade para se conhecer e vivenciar experiências e histórias. Sejam elas quais forem e de quem for.
Como anfitrião, sou uma pessoa amigável, sociável e divertido. Um autêntico cidadão carioca, devidamente certificado, que gosta de conversar, rir e fazer rir. Dentro e fora de casa. Gosto de fazer amigos, passar o dia na praia, sair para beber e mostrar a minha cidade, nosso jeito de ser (seja apenas caminhando pelos arredores, pedalando, trilhando ou subindo montanhas). Também amo leitura, música e cinema (uma de minhas maiores paixões).
Admiro pessoas desprovidas de julgamentos ou qualquer tipo de preconceito. Orientação sexual, política ou religiosa não nos definem. Afinal, não creio em verdades absolutas, tampouco creia que alguém seja dono delas.
Em suma, minha filosofia de vida é: Viva e deixe Viver. Afinal, não viemos a esse planeta para sobreviver, mas para viver um estilo de vida abundante e, por que não dizer, aventureiro. Podendo economizar com hospedagem, melhor ainda.

I discovered in CS a great way to keep the house full, to practice a foreign language and to know other cultures. I love traveling and meeting new people and CS facilitates this interaction. Besides, being able to be part of someone's dream and trip, motivates me a lot.

Descobri no CS uma ótima forma de manter a casa cheia, praticar uma língua estrangeira e conhecer outras culturas. Adoro viajar e conhecer gente nova e o CS facilita essa interação. Além do que, poder fazer parte do sonho e da viagem de alguém, me motiva e muito.

A coffee stand at the counter
A brief walk through the Rio suburb
A walk by the sea to simply have a beer, or simply a water while we hit a good chat on the boardwalk
Presence, time available. Even if for any reason, I can not be in day to day with my guest.
