I am a retired nurse and returned from Switzerland where I have lived for many years and worked as a nurse to Camiguin. I was born here and grew up here.

We have a 10 hectare farm where we grow vegetables, fruits, some tilapia ponds , raise cattles, pigs and horses. we have pet dogs.

My husband is a retired journalist, a Swiss. His last professional years he spent in Africa working at the UN for the Swiss Government Foreign Ministry, Humanitarian wing. He loves farming and nature.

We have no kids.

We would like to share our paradise with nature lovers. We rent a cottage LIVING LIKE IN BALI, eco cottage powered only solar in the midst of the rice fields.

We also have a colonial house in the town for those who wants to experience Camiguin in the old days.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are travellers. Most of the time, our houses are vacant.

Therefore, we joined Couchsurfing to maybe exchange house or rent other peoples' house/apartment and rent our own houses.

If we are around, we guarantee we can share so many experiences we had of travelling. Since 10 years, we had either live in Africa or travel once or twice per year to Southern Africa with a 4X4 with a rooftop tent, camping. We love the wilderness and space.
