I am born in switzerland and really love it to live here. I live between the capital city Bern and Interlaken, in a little town, called Steffisburg. Steffisburg is located directly in front of the Alps and next to Thun, which is a very famous and beautiful town. So it takes me with the car about 45 to 60 minutes to reach almost every touristic place in the Bernese Oberland. We have lots of different parts and landscapes in Switzerland and I try to spend as much time in the nature as possible. Mostly on horseback, by hiking or on my Inline Skates. But I also like to travel around in other countrys, especially meeting people and seeing their lifestyle.

One rule in my life is not to get stuck in my daily routine. It‘s important for me to know how other people live and what I could do, to live a better life. Is it to protect the environment or just to be a ‚better human beeing‘. I love it to challenge myself because it makes me stronger and self confident. My philosophy is to live tolerance and respect. I‘m learning about this every day of my life and it‘s just interesting to see, what others are thinking about life and for what reason we live on this planet.

For living i am a blacksmith, most of the time I shoe horses. But I’m still working on my education, next year I will start my studys to get a teacher, so I can do both one day, horseshoeing and teaching hopefully.

I like driving cars (which is a big part of my job), listening to every music/playing piano and just hang out around the lake of Thun with friends while the long summer days in switzerland. I just came back from six months of travelling. I was first on a trip around America, after that I did a three week interrailtrip through Europe. So now I‘m really looking forward to return the ‚couchsurfing favour’ and hosting some people in Switzerland. I have so many things to share!
