I am a 21 years old Brazilian student living temporarily on Porto and a newbie to the world of travelling and couchsurfing, but eager to travel as much as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just recently discovered a passion for travelling and meeting new people, having never really travelled around before the exchange. More than that, getting to know other cultures through world travellers would be fantastic. I am really in for the people and the stories.

Interests

I just love cooking at home with friends or going out to a bar and talk all night. I believe people have all sorts of fantastic crazy stories to share, and if the stories are all told we can always sit and listen to some music or watch a good movie. Music is a strong passion of mine, I love to listen and just feel the sound (and sometimes dance like crazy). Films and photography are a recent discovery that I am yet exploring, so would love to learn more too.

Music, Movies, and Books

I could go all day on this but for music I can listen anything. Rock is a sort of favorite, but sometimes I just switch to samba at random because life is too short for just one style of music. My favourite books include Karamazov Brothers, Grande Sertao Veredas, 1984 and Harry Potter of course (probably the book that started it all). For movies I would go with Que Horas Ela Volta, Tropa de Elite, Amelie, The Shining, Little Miss Sunshine, Downfall and anything that comes from Tarantino.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I played to a full auditorium on high school with everyone jumping and cheering to the sound of our band.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some basics of how to play the guitar. Other than that I love to share recommendations on films, music and books too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer a lot experience on Brazilian culture and even a homemade meal (I am not a experienced cooker but know my way around some delicious meals).
