From Cape Town, South Africa. Student at a university here studying Social Work. When I’m not studying I’m mostly either surfing, hiking, or skating. I love where I live, I think it’s the most beautiful place on earth.

I’m a pretty chill person and enjoy going with the flow of things but with that being said, I always manage to make myself super busy. I love art and movies and I really enjoy trying to understand the nuance to things and situations. I’m a firm believer in keeping things real, but I’m still learning.

I haven’t travelled that much out of SA. But I’ve seen quite a bit of what my country has to offer and would be more than happy to share. My current living situation unfortunately doesn’t allow me to open my house up for surfers, but I can show you around to the places I’ve managed to find and share my experiences. I would love to hear about yours too. Or if you just want to ask me some advice on here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I saw a National Geographic article on Couch-surfing and I loved the idea behind it. The community it can build and the humanity it promotes. Getting to know interesting people from completely different walks of life really extends who you. I hope to use this more when I’m exploring new places and countries. But for now I’m super keen to be apart of it and hopefully help make someone’s experience of my country that much more memorable and beautiful.

I’ve used the hangouts feature a bit while in Thailand, and met some amazing people on here.

Interests

I love things that express emotion or feeling. So movies, music, books, art, and dance all strike a fancy. Outside is the best side.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m not much of a cook unfortunately. But I can offer a helping hand wherever it’s needed. I can share my stories and experiences and would love to hear yours. If you so desire I could even show you a dance move or two. 😂 My humour is filled with dad jokes and sarcasm. But I love getting into deep conversations too. I’m easy going and am happy to adjust.
