About Me

I am an Italian International Law student, often traveling for passion or for reasons of study/research/work. I have spent a semester in Belgium (Leuven) and then worked in the Netherlands, at the ICC. I have also lived in Hamburg and Strasbourg. I am based in Rome. I am passionate about arts, music, philosophical issues. I love good food and wine. The only thing I miss, when traveling, is my dog.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because a place remains there and I can visit it anytime, whereas people make the difference. And having the two of them is the ideal :) I am extremely curious about discovering each individual's personality, culture, mindset. And CS is a smart way to be enriched with other people's lifestyle, while traveling on a budget.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: rock, indie-rock, folk-rock, britpop. Oasis and Arctic Monkeys have my heart. Listen to everything and fan of concerts and clubbing. Other random artists I love: Mumford and Sons, Alt-J, Kasabian, RHCP, The xx, Kings of Leon, Libertines, Strokes, Bonobo, Massive Attack, Metronomy, Doors, Pearl Jam, Jimi Hendrix... + Italian songwriters

Films: Annie Hall, Once Upon a Time in America, Pulp Fiction, When Harry Met Sally, The Shawshank Redemption, Fight Club...

Books: unfortunately I'm starting dozens and ending none, at the moment. Love a good classic, American contemporary literature, French existentialists, various Italian authors

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've found my path and happiness, against all odds. Guess that is the most incredible thing I have done, but it is quite a long story :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I am willing to share something about the cultures I have experienced, the languages I speak, the places I have been to. I wish to have a meaningful exchange of ideas and mindsets, as an occasion of growth for both. And also to have a great time together!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Italian pasta and a good conversation! :)
