Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To show the positive side of this tiny country and its people with a heart of gold. Since coming to live here, I've realized that Salvadorans are some of the most resilient and friendly people in the world. Unfortunately, the country still gets a bad rap because of its violent past but I will show you El Salvador as I've known it and hopefully turn you into an embassador for others who may have doubts about coming here in the future.

Estoy aquí para mostrar el lado positivo de este pequeño pais, cariñosamente conocido como el "Pulgarcito de América" y de su gente con el corazón de oro. Desde que me quedé a vivir aquí me he dado cuenta que los Salvadoreños son unas de las personas más fuertes de espíritu y amistosas del mundo. Desafortunadamente, el país tiene mucha mala publicidad debido a su pasado violento pero te mostraré El Salvador como lo he llegado a conocer y amar. Espero convertirte en un embajador para el turismo local y algún día servirle bien a alguien que tenga dudas en visitarnos.

I came to El Salvador in January 2015 as a volunteer to teach English. Didn't imagine I would love it so much that I would decide to live here.
