About Me

About me, i am still trying to figure out who i am so here a few things there i already realized about myself: I am a Capricornian so i intend to be organized and obsessed about planning everything in life. However, it has been a few years since i realized that the best things in life comes when you dont expect it, so, now i have a different philosophy, i let life guide me and just enjoy the ride. There is a brazilian samba about that, so, for those one who can understand portuguese : "Deixa a vida me levar" .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In 2018 i decided that i needed to get out of my confort zone and leave Brazil to meet the world. So i applied for an exchange program in the University of Santiago de Compostela, in Galicia, Spain, now it has been six mounths since i have been living here and i love it! I am planning to travel for 2 mounths around South Spain and Italy in June and July and while i was planning my trip i realized that couchsurfing would be the best way to be truly immersed in the local culture, so here i am!

I love reaggae music, especially the brazilian reaggae. I also enjoy MPB and samba. I love historical movies, biographys and documentaries. I read a lot, basically all kind of histories, now i am interested in reading spanish novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2015: I went to Colombia for 2 months to do a volunteer work in Cartagena. I used to work as an english teacher in a public school, i have met some incredible little human beings there as weel as some amazing people from all over the world.
2016: I learned how to surf and felt in love with the sport, there is no feeling like catching a good wave and being in the middle of the sea, just you, the sun and the waves.
2018: I had the opportunity to travel to Israel and meet my childhood friend that is living there now. In this trip i went toJerusalem, the Dead Sea and the desert of Wadi Rum and Petra, in Jordan, so, yeah, it was an incredible journey.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn new languages, to be with native speakers and learn from them about the local culture and their way of living, this things really amaze me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share with you some funny expressions in portuguese, good brazilian food and music, i can teach how to dance samba and how to enjoy life like a Baiano (we are known as the most chill and easy going people of Brazil)!
