I am volunteering with EVS (European Voluntary Service) since February 2018 for a year in Nokere (Kruishoutem) at het Voedselbos, an educational permaculture farm.

I am in Belgium to learn a lot about permaculture, sustainable living, meet interesting, open-minded people, get to know Belgium, improve my English and learn Dutch.

I am a minimalist, try to live a zero waste life. I started to reduce the stuffs around me - sold or donated them. The aim is simplifying my life, reduce my negative impact to the environment, free up more time and gather more experience instead of owning unnecessary objects. I stopped eating meat and started a vegetarian life style since February 2018.

This year is a unique opportunity to step outside my comfort zone, improve myself, “have new eyes” and respect the small things in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to discover Belgium during my volunteer year but it is more adventurous, when we have the chance, to get to know interesting people during our journey. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saved the lives of birds and mice cough by my cat and earthworms from built in a concrete wall. :)
Hitchhiked around 300 km in Belgium in 5 hours.
I am a volunteer at an educational permaculture farm in Belgium.
I studied with ERASMUS in Germany, Göttingen.
