About Me
Hi
I am a lively and inquisitive person who loves to go to gigs and dance, as well as go out walking and at times sit by the fire and have interesting conversations.
I like blues and folk music as well as activist songs and anything which gets my feet tapping! I like earthy venues like village halls and fringe festivals. I am venturing out to explore Buddhism in April 2019 so may be looking to do some of my own couchsurfing during the summer sometime?
I love being out doors and in nature. I grow vegetables and flowers and I have recently started walking the south west coast path...
I value my family and meaningful friendships. My daughter is travelling and working the festival circuit and I love to hear all her stories and this has insprired me to revisit the idea of travelling again. My adventures in my 20s and 30s seem a long time ago but its never to late to take up the baton again!
I have a strong spiritual outlook on life but I am not religious. I enjoy meditation and Buddhism interests me amongst other traditions. I believe in kindness, and keeping an open heart even in the face of difficulties and I try to live by a code of gratitude and optimism. I am also a virgo so I have my feet firmly on the ground!
For safety reasons I only consider hosting those who have references so please only request to stay with me if you meet this requirement of mine. Thank you.
I love couchsurfing and being a host gives me a great sense of adventuring whilst also honouring my commitments at home with family, my community and work.
I feel like an activist and a revolutionary because couchsurfing enables me to live by my creed of open hearted generosity and trust. I know connections are possible in every moment and I need never be lonely again! Couchsurfing is a free exchange of beingness and embraces difference as a positive experience. Such joy and opportunity in the unknown...
I love to meet new people with interesting ideas and stories to tell. I hope to meet you... My friend..
