About Me

Hey, there! My name is Giancarlo and I am a very social person. I am outgoing and love being spontaneous, which goes hand in hand with my obsession for big cities. I do my best to be honest, respectful, and overall just a decent human being. Well, I try, anyway... I have a very sarcastic sense of humor, as you can see, but it always comes from a place of love. Otherwise, I will always be polite, and promise not to lay the sarcasm on too thick until we get to know each other better. Hopefully I get to visit wherever you call home soon. Thanks for reading!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I have suddenly found myself in the clichéd position of being VERY addicted to travel and clothing while also being VERY broke and in college. I'm new to Couchsurfing, but have heard positive things (and so did my wallet, haha). I honestly never realized how expensive travel can be until I got old enough to get a job and start covering my own expenses, so hopefully this is a good opportunity to see the world without having to file for bankruptcy!

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite Band: Glass Animals

Favorite Movie: Anything Disney, tbh

Favorite Book: Percy Jackson Series & Assorted spin-offs, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and Lolita when I'm feeling something darker and twisted...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I frequently see Jason Segel a couple of times a month (don't know him personally, never talked to him, we're best friends he just doesn't know it yet...), which isn't something amazing that I've done, but it's still pretty cool, I think!

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope to learn and share a more altruistic outlook on life.
