Overview
About Me
I am May, born and raised in Vietnam yet spending most of my time since 20 travelling to different countries.
I used to study in Vietnam, China and currently an undergraduate in Asian University for Women in Bangladesh, but now spending one semester exchange in Trento, Italy.
I never mind listening to people’s stories of all kinds and ask further questions to understand what shapes your perspectives. Dialogue is a great way to learn, right?
I am quite into nature, peace, arts, philosophy, gender-related talks, etc. and I care about quality of my networking circle rather than quantity. I’m on Couchsurfing, hoping that I can have great talks with people of different cultures (it would be surely helpful if at the same time, you can host me during my stay in your country of residence), explore more perspectives out there and make good connection.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Finding people who can host me during my stay in a foreign country, as well as listening to stories from different cultural points of view.

Music, Movies, and Books
I watch movies, listen to music and read books of all kinds - and like anything that can touch me.
I have recently watched some animes and am very curious about talented people who worked in this industry to produce some high quality series/movies both visually and philosophically
Also love comedies like Brooklyn 99 (life is stressful, enjoy yourself!)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Dropping out of 2 colleges without informing my family. It’s actually a risky decision that I still can’t believe my- younger-self had enough courage to do it. But to reflect, it’s good to walk away from what drains my energy and spend time for a whole new world outside the colleges’ gate.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Most people who’ve met and interacted with me comment that I’m open-minded, easy-going, caring and never be a judgmental person. So I think I probably can bring comfort and sense of security to you if you want to share any stories.
Also, I know some languages (not fluently in all of them), but I would love to have some language exchange with you if you want.
If you love Vietnamese food and I have enough time and ingredients, I will try cooking for you (not a good cook though)
