Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend told me about it just before I set off on my travels. I love the idea of it and I think it is a great way to meet people and share a day or two in their company.

Music, Movies, and Books

So many different kinds of music, I enjoy movies at times, reading books is not usually my thing but when I do read, I like to learn of world history.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I do things out of love and passion, not to stand out or to be recognised.
But one amazing thing to me, was swimming with Manta Rays in the Maldives - that was special!
Also, spent two days with a hill top tribe in Northern Laos - no electricity or machines...

Teach, Learn, Share

Back in Wales, I was a Scout Leader and love to teach children and adults new skills. I love to learn new things also. I am happy to share cultural differences and discuss the differences between our countries. I have no set religion, but I do have my own beliefs - I am comfortable talking about religion. I am very good at adapting to new surroundings and enjoy getting involved in traditional ways whereever I find myself. I am not a person that wants to find 'western comforts' when I am travelling...
