About Me

Hi I’m Grace, I'm originally from London but have lived in Glasgow for the last 4 years for studying. Just about to undertake my postgraduate degree in History!

Following completion of my studies I am looking to spend the 2023 Summer travelling Europe, seeing the sights, experiencing a variety of cultures, and hopefully trying some amazing food and drink along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet people that will allow me to experience the cities that I travel to in the most authentic and enjoyable way. I love to form friendships with people that I would never otherwise have met and hope to eventually return the favour of sharing my home once I'm established in one place.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is always a hard one to quantify, but right now I'm listening to mostly classic rock, disco, and a bit of Taylor Swift.

Some movies I like include; Labyrinth, Dazed and Confused, Heathers, The Lost Boys, Good Will Hunting. Always up for a movie recommendation :)

I just finished a book called All the Girls are so Nice Here, which was good but pretty creepy. I'm a huge fan of psychological thrillers or mysteries normally, so like Gone Girl, Before I go to Sleep, or You. I'm also trying to work my way through modern classics like The Bell Jar, and 1984, but between university reading I don't have a lot of time for fiction at the moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking across the Great Wall of China was a big one, though because I was only 14 I don't think I appreciated the magnitude of the moment. In short, I'd love to visit China again.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My dad-like music taste, my general puppy dog eagerness to experience new places, and my intermediate cooking skills.

Countries I’ve Visited
