Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To expand my horizons! Meeting with a local is definitely the best way to explore a city that you know nothing about. I felt this in my bones on my first day at Ghent.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's not a crazy fun story but I saved money for two years so that I could go on Erasmus and I succeeded!
Oh and I also hugged Christopher Lloyd once.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some basic Turkish and how to cook Turkish food. I'd also like to cook it for you if we are ever in a setting where that's possible.

I have endless trivial knowledge about pop culture and American culture/ sitcoms/ comedians specifically. I'd love to talk comedy. Moreover, astrology is my guilty pleasure that I'd like to exchange ideas about :)

I am fascinated by astrophysics. Realizing how extremely tiny we are in comparison to the universe is genuinely calming for me. I would love to learn more and have a conversation about astronomy, physics or any kind of science.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer my insights into any sort of discussion we might have. I would also be okay with us not being able to hang out if you end up being busy :) I think it's a good skill to be able to have a nice time on your own.
