About Me
I love meeting people from other cultures and religions, learning traditions, tasting new recipes, etc. I always try to respect the other's opinions and learn from the diversity of points of view. When I was 14 I travelled to a Turkish city called Giresun. I have lots of pleasant memories of when I was in there. This experience encouraged me to travel more and perhaps that is why I am using Couchsurfing.
I am from a village called "Santpedor" that is one hour from Barcelona. Santpedor is the place of birth of Pep Guardiola, the Manchester City football club manager. I do not like soccer very much but I am a Pep Guardiola fan. My parents are both Spanish (or catalan) Origin and my native language is Catalan though I also speak Spanish easily.
I have been very involved in music since I were a kid. I started playing piano and currently I am learning to play guitar. Recently, I have joined in a chorus and I have started practicing singing. If you click to the link you will be able to watch a video where I appear singing with this chorus. I hope you find it funny! (I am the boy who is wearing purple clothes).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I believe that living a few days with locals is one of the most authentic ways of traveling. You can meet people from other cultures and share your differences. In a near future, I would like to accept guests in my home but at the moment I am living with a host family in Bristol. It would be quite complicated to accept guests being a guest!
I arrived in Bristol three weeks ago and I will stay here for three months. My girlfriend is coming here next weekend and we are looking for accomodation. We both enjoy hiking, going on journeys, camping out and living wild experiences. Every summer we spend ten days camping out somewhere. Two years ago we completed a journey called "La Ruta de Cavalls" in Menorca Island (Spain) and it was one of the most natural and wild experiences I had ever had. I really recommend this journey to the ones who love Mediterranian landscapes!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love jazz. I really enjoy myself listening to Keith Jarrett, Miles Davis or Herbie Hancock albums. I'm not very good at dancing but last year I joined Lindy-Hop classes and it was funny.
Fight Club, American Beauty, The Secret Life of Words and Monsters Inc. are some of my favourite films. I'm not a fan of commercial Hollywood films.
