About Me
Currently studying for my teaching master in Grenoble, France, I did my third year of double bachelor’s degree in Modern French Literature/ English Language Literature and Civilisation at the University of Edinburgh as an exchange student last year... and started my couchsurfing adventure at that time!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During my Erasmus in Scotland, I realised how it was easy to visit a country without being in contact with local people. It really annoyed me since the reason why I wanted to spend a year abroad, and particularly in Scotland, was not only its wonderful landscapes or its rich history, but also discovering a new culture and meeting people who think and reason in another way, which I find really important to have a rich and critical vision of the world and my own culture. I thus decided that I needed to change my way of travelling: although youth hostels were a good way to meet other travelers, when friends told me about the couchsurfing I understood it was a good way to have new experieces and meet locals, so here I am!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It may not be the kind of adventure expected, but it was an amazing one! It was actually quite a long term adventure, and probably not totally over... After being volunteer and secretary for one year, I was the president of an association which welcome international students in Grenoble, France for a year and a half. It brings me a lot on a various range of aspects. I met some of my best friends, and many people who helped me to widden my way of seeing things. It conforted me in the idea that with a few you can do a lot if you believe in it. I got much more self-confidence and boldness. Finally it tought me how to travel while staying home and gave me the will to see more!
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to share about dancing: I can teach some rock, salsa and bachata basics and would be so glad to learn about any other styles!
I'm also keen on learning from your home country and adventures as well as telling my owns.
I can teach French but I'd rather learn about your own language.
What I Can Share with Hosts

Talking about French culture.
Having discussions about almost any subject although I might be more comfortable to talk about dance, travel, literature and history.

Bring you with me to a dancing night if you'd like (salsa, bachata or rock).
