Overview
About Me
Hello, my name is Míša. Long story short I’m creative and curious to explore the world.
You can usually find me walking through Prague with at least a handbag with a sketchbook. Art for me is a way of making sense of the world, connecting with people and with myself. I find inspiration in nature and the world around, but most importantly people. Especially if they have a different life story than mine.
I traveled through Couchsurfing a few times pre-pandemic and then didn’t even open it until the beginning of May 2023. And I’m new to the hosting side.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To travel without meeting locals doesn’t really mean all that much to me. Sure, architecture and nature can be nice, but the people make the most interesting part of the trip for me. And same for people from around the world visiting Prague.

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to stories, I get lost in them. I grew up reading a lot of fantasy books, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The Witcher,… you know - magic (and swords!) and of course Sir Terry Pratchett’s Discworld
And with music it depends on the occasion. Folk, rock, punk, jazz… I’m not that fond of dnb and rap.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being a freelance artist despite what most people around told me about it being a horrible idea.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m an artist, but I believe that anyone can be creative and it’s just a matter of finding their way. So I love helping people discover their creativity. (I can also help with painting and drawing skills specifically).
The second big area of interest for me is movement. I practice aikido - a Japanese martial art that is a bit different from all the others. When people practice it at full speed, it’s still looking for a peaceful solution of the situation, so nobody gets hurt, even the person attacking. Also it doesn’t involve any competition, which creates a good atmosphere and allows people on different levels to practice together.
I’m learning to play guitar and sing, so if you can help me with either, I’d be really glad.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good tea, (hopefully) interesting conversations and some basic (vegetarian) cooking skills
