About Me

---------------------------
Hello!

I’m a 21 years old french-brazilian girl looking for beautiful places to travel all over the world.

I am traveling to discover more of who I am, to open my mind meeting new people, places and cultures and to understand more about this crazy world we live, facing different realities.

“Be the change you want to see in the world” is one of my personal lemmas, and I try to apply this in my daily-life actions.
I hope that in the future I’ll be able to do something bigger and useful to the world ( specially to the environment) and I believe traveling is the best way to understand and see the changes we need now.

I love learning new things, helping people, seeing beautiful nature, eating and cooking good food, just to list a few.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

---------------------------

After listening to amazing Couchsurfing stories from friends, I thought I could enrich my travel experiences by spending more time with locals.

I believe that people that open their houses to travelers are the most open-minded, kind and generous ones, and that’s the kind of people I want to get to know while traveling. I’ll be happy to do everything I can to return this hospitality.

I also believe that Couch Surfing is a great way to make good friends and to enjoy the life in a different country in a non-touristic and authentic way.

Interests

I love being in the nature and everything that makes me feel conected to it. That’s why I like doing outdoor sports as climbing, hiking, as well as white-water sports.
I love cooking and eating good food, and I always want to learn new recipes.
I am very interested in social projects and social entrepreneurship, sustainable development and everything that turns the world a better place.

Music, Movies, and Books

Meus filmes preferidos são os poéticos e calmos (o tipo de filme que muitas pessoas acham chatos), biografias, filmes de história, e documentários sobre o meio ambiente.

Adoro romances policiais, miteratura brasileira, e romances históricos também.

---------------------------
I love watching movies, even though I might sleep watching them- specially at night. Currently, my favourite ones are Captain Fantastic, Lion and El Faro de las Orcas. I also like documentaries on the environment.

I also enjoy a lot reading. I like Brazilian literature (Capitães da Areia from Jorge Amado is my favourite one), and I love crime novels - Hercule Poirot and Sherlock Holmes are my heros. I love Stefan Zweig’s books, and my favourite one is, for sure, 24 Hours of a Woman’s Life. Recently, I really liked the Earth Children’s series from Jean Auel, and Fall of Giants from Ken Follett.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- volunteered in a school - the Heaven Hill Academy- in a small village on the top of a hill in Nepal, teaching the cutest kids from the Nepali lower cast. This project was for sure the most incredible one I’ve been part of.

- lived in a house with 15 girls and organized parties for 1000 people ( 2 years in a business school were really useful!)

- Traveled in India with crutches due to a sprained ankle. Crazy experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love feeling useful and helping people, so I’ll be glad to help you in everything you need.

More specifically, I can teach you how to cook french and brazilian dishes, and I’ll be happy to learn how to cook local ones.

I would love to hear about your life and culture, learning a bit of your language and the history of your country, and I can also share these information about Brazil, which is a huge and very interesting country.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would be super happy to share my experiences, ideas, beliefs and plans for the future, and I would be delighted to do it while drinking some beers ;)
