About Me
Hello! My name is Mariano Rojas and I am studying electrical engineering in San Juan, the province where I was born in Argentina, specializing in renewable energies.
Thanks to a DAAD scholarship, I have been living in Germany since August 2017. I was studying one semester at the TU Braunschweig and now I live in Freiburg due to an internship at Fraunhofer.
I consider myself an open and relaxed person, I really like listening to people and learning about ways of thinking. I am very interested in politics, society and the economy, although I don't consider myself an expert on the subject, I like to learn of these things.
I really like to play and watch football. I am a little passionate about it and I do consider that I know about it, hahaha.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and of course being with my girlfriend.
With my friends we used to get together for a few beers and talk about our stuff, play a lot of board games and go dancing too.
Other thing about me is that I'm very interested in renewable energies. I study about them in and I want to develop professionally in this field to contribute from my position to leave a better world to my children.
I must also say that I like nature very much and I enjoy a walk among the hills or simply drinking mate (argentine drink) in a park.
Well, this is a little bit of mine! (I hope I didn't bore you!)
Regards!!
Mariano
