About Me
Hi!
Ready to meet new people from all over the world? I am! I love travelling but also love to talk about it when i'm not travelling. The best way to describe myself is an 30 year old girl (still feel like a kid) who is looking for some new experiences during the working life. I love to really live everyday and not being too focussed on working 24/7 although i really love to work hard as well.
I love food, photography, music, and can really enjoy little things in life. I am not bored easily and love to make fun, i do laugh a lot about all funny scenario's my creative mind is making all the time.
In my daily life i work as a graphic designer and an restaurant manager of a really special place, I will tell you more about it if we meet. I love everything that has to do with food and creativity. I love cooking, baking and lately i started dancing so that are the things that keep me busy at the moment.
I love the challenge to travel as low budget as possible, enjoy the little and unexpected things who come my way and to experience the way how the real locals live. I don't like to plan things too much so and will let a big part of my trip be determined by recommendations from people i meet on the way.
-----+++++If you wanna stay at my place please notice that +++++-------
- I do not live in Amsterdam -
I live in Hoevelaken, a small city near Amersfoort
I am not able to host you in my house. I can show you around Utrecht because i work there. Also I can show you around Amersfoort (the nearest city from my village).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because this seems like the perfect place to share my interests with other travelers and hosts :)
Meeting local people during my own trips made my travels so much more better. And also to share the passion for traveling with others is just amazing.
I started using CS with hosting some people last year. The first time I couchsurfed was in november 2018 in Croatia and Montenegro. I saw some really cool places and met nice people. I'm excited to use couchsurfing for my upcoming trips!
Music, Movies, and Books
A lot of music! Like me, my music choice depends on my mood so it can variate from Soul, Jazz, Rock, deephouse, and even a little bit techno. Don't really watch a lot of movies or read books but if I do it's mostly about starting your own company, traveling, documentaries about traveling, cooking or wildlife programs.
Great artists who i have been listing to lately are: Poldoore, Michael Jackson, Jeremy Loops, Rag 'n' Bone Man, JT
One of the not so many movies i have seen but which I think has a great story: Blood diamond. Oh an i still have to watch A life on our planet from david attenborough!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Chosen the minor 'working in developing countries' what wasn't the smartest choice for my education, but at the end it was the best choice for the heart. I have experienced so many great experiences and met so many genuine local people.
Teach, Learn, Share
Cliche; but don't stop believing. If you can't stop thinking about it, don't stop working for it.
Life is a fact, to live is an art.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cooking with creativity. I really like to improvise a meal with the ingredients who are present in the kitchen. And of course love to talk and experience about life, stories, interests from the host and share mines.
I like to hear someones opinion about a subject and share our visions about the world.
I'm in to discover not usual things and love to be a little weirdness. I like to go to new places which are non-touristical and spend some time together, this applies when i'm couchsurfing or hosting.
