I am 23 year old boy from Bulgaria. I am currently doing my law degree in the Netherlands, but unfortunately due to the pandemic I am staying in my home city of Plovdiv. I love traveling, jogging and ...arguing about politics!

Traveling is a crucial part of my life. I discovered my passion for it just before I turned 18 and for the last 5 years I have travelled in 23 countries solo. I got to know new cultures, became way more organized (even tho its arguable!), and combated my social anxiety.

I have used CouchSurfing twice and I absolutely loved it. I don't see this app as a "cheap accommodation" but rather as a great opportunity to meet locals, make new friends, discover some cool spots! I know quite a lot of stuff about my country (yeah, I'm a history freak) so you will deifnitely learn a lot about Bulgarian history and culture if you host me!

I enjoy learning more about the historical background of the city I'm visiting. It's not necessarily for me to go through the whole city in a rush. Sitting in a park with a drink and a good company is enough for me to experience the overall atmosphere!

I'm a talkative, energetic and open - minded person. Some of my hobbies include reading (mainly about politics, history, mental health), taking long walks, acting, listening to music, jogging in the morning.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking forward to meet new people and explore new cultures. I believe that my stay is a two-side learning, so I'd love to teach my hosts more about Bulgaria, too.
