About Me

I'm in a continual search for profound existential moments of clarity, meaning, and purpose. I usually find this by being outdoors, hiking, swimming, camping, hammocking, and taking breaks in between to appreciate the beauty that this universe has allowed us to experience.

I love the sound of streams, birds chirping, wind dancing amongst the trees, and the calming sound of silence under the stars at night.

I'm an artist who enjoys photography, both family portraitures and landscape. I am also a painter and my pieces will usually be a recreation of the world around me. I'm pretty sure I was a cat in a past life. As such, I like my quiet time, love my sleep, appreciate deep connections with others, and I love food. I don't scratch, I promise.

Favorite Books: 1984, Man's Search for Meaning, V for Vendetta, Unsettling the Settler Within, Celestine Prophecy, and several essays from various authors and academics.

I work with children and adults with Autism as a behaviour interventionist. I learned to be oh so very patient through my work.
I'm majoring in Psychology and Sociology. 'What I want to do with my life' is my other unofficial major at the University of Humans of Planet Earth. I have yet to graduate, but I'd say my convocation is in about 75 years from now...

***I'm not looking for romance; I just want to make friends!***

Oh! I'm also organized, sometimes late, typically smiling, considerate of other's space and needs, and love eating fruits. I also clean up after myself, love cooking, and am a great listener. Small talk is terrifying. Deep conversations are calming.

Cheers!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach what I can, learn everything, and share what I have, whether that's my time or my chocolate snacks.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Conversation, home made food (Spanish style), accommodation exchange if they come to Vancouver, free cuddles for all their pets, music exchange (if you are curious what I'm listening to), and finally English or Spanish lessons.
