About Me
Hi!
I'm Carolin, 23 years old, from Germany. I study biochemistry in the cool city of Leipzig. Now I’m on a exchange semester in Stockholm and I’m excited to travel in beautiful Sweden. I love nature, hiking, exploring new places and meeting other people while travelling.
I am a chilled, open-minded person, very tolerant and like to hang out with others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel around the world and connect with other people by sharing experiences, chatting and having fun. I am very curious to learn about new cultures and languages. Making new friends abroad and also developing and growing as a person is a great thing about travelling. I believe that staying with locals is the best way to get to know a place.

Music, Movies, and Books
favourite music: mostly indie, bands like oasis, the smiths, blur, pixies, arctic monkeys, radiohead, placebo,... and also a lot of German indie bands
favourite film: the perks of being a wallflower
favourite books: all of John Green's novels!, milk and honey, the sun and her flowers (Rupi Kaur)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was in Stonehenge, England for summer solstice with a couple of friends. It was amazing to see the sunset at this mysterious place and to be so close to the stones!
Teach, Learn, Share
I consider education as very important and connecting with people is always a kind of education through exchanging experiences and ideas. By travelling I would love to widen my horizon and learn more about different parts of the world.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share travel experiences and teach you some German. Also I make very good pancakes :)
