Hey there!! My names Dannielle but most people call me Danni. I’m eighteen years old and spent much of my past few years attempting to balance things I love doing with my academics, but after graduating high school I decided living wasn’t going to take a backseat anymore, so here I am living and learning and growing so that maybe some day soon I can further my education without sacrificing myself.

I think the amazing parts of life are in the little moments when everything just seems to click. I have many aspirations for amazing journeys such as one day I wish to hike the entire pacific crest trail, summit all of the top 100 mountains in NZ, learn a language in a year, run an ultra marathon.

I’m not outstanding at any one thing but I’d like to teach everything I know. I can teach about New Zealand and what I know about Maori culture; language, food, tradition. I can share random facts that you will probably never need to know but that’s the fun of it! I’ve taught Kayaking, Archery, Mountain Biking, Drama at a Summer Camp and am in love with the ocean and its biodiversity.

I would love to learn to speak Spanish or Italian or essentially any language. I’d love to learn to play guitar, rock climb, surf, or almost anything that can be taught. When I was a kid I aspired to be Forrest Gump because he got to do a bit of everything, I never wanted to stop learning and am trying (emphasis on trying!) to chase that excitement in everything I do.
