About Me

It has always been a stressful process to me to write about myself.

After my graduation I've lived in various cities, big and small ones and for long and short periods and I eventually ended up settling down in my hometown. After settled down I've started my travels to abroad as I had almost completed my trips to Anatolia ( but still there are lots of paths to take. )

I believe one of my pictures can be more expressive than words about me. Although there is not enough light in the photo it's including almost everything I like; such as summer, aegean sea, olive trees, a white t-shirt with an ancient figure and a smile.

Also here is my instagram account: mertbozdemir2

In conclusion, mentioning about ourselves in order to create a profile is boring that's why I asked my best friend if he could tell one sentence that will describe me and he said "Walks and talks a lot. Sometimes both. "

Music, Movies, and Books

I have no specific music genre but I absolutely know what I can't listen to. Apart from what I can't listen to, there are some bands and musicians I really like from all over the world like Khruangbin, Michelle Gurevich.. and of course some musicians from 60's, 70's Anatolia.

I have same words for cinema and literature. Just in order to give an idea I can count a few directors names like Reha Erdem, Tony Gatlif, Abbas Kiarostami, Theo Angelopoulos, Giuseppe Tornatore, Carla Simón, Semih Kaplanoğlu

Yasar Kemal, Maxim Gorky, Panait Istrati and Dostoyevsky; These are the authors I call master.

Also I can count a few tv series I start over and over like Six Feet Under, The Office, IT Crowd, The Scrubs

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have nothing for this title. One minute! I have been at the westernmost point of the Asian continent by hitch-hiking. May be it works.

Teach, Learn, Share

First I have some stories regarding both of archaic and modern times of Anatolian geography and culture. Then I would like to teach hidden gems of Turkey like some ancient cities where peaceful and magnificent at the same time.
I love camping so I can help with pleasure in order to find a cool camping place in seven region of Anatolian geography.
Also I can teach basic turkish and some useful expressions.
With what I mentioned above I would be very pleased if someone tell me stories about the memory of the city or country where they come from.
While all this is happening we will share our time, which is the most precious thing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

First and foremost, a good conversation. Okay, I know it's written attorney on my profile but I am not that much boring, no I don't think so.

Also I keep my coffee pot with me on my travels so I can make turkish coffee properly.

Apart from these, any kind of help of course.
