About Me

Hello everyone. I am a easy going person loves plants as an environmentalist and urbanist. I like to spent time to draw my surroundings and talk with people. I also love animals. I am very interested on species and endemic plants. All of my travels I firstly try to understand the flora of the location I am staying. Beyond that, I am big fun of horse riding. I have been doing this professionally that I won some prizes, however, now I do not really have so much time to continue as professional as I was once. Now horse riding for me is more like a talent I have. Especially in summer months when I am in beach side, I love to run through the ocean wind with a horse as fast as the wind, while the saline breeze flirting with my hair. By the way, I love literature, poems are the most beloved ones. For instance I like to read, Edgar Allen Poe, Marquis de Sade (he has some poems!!), Turgut Uyar, Hoca Ahmed Yesevi... Also it is one of my addiction to learn about myths in folk culture, because I love to tell stories, myths and legends that I know from all around the world. The big majority of legends I know, are the ancient Anatolian sagas. I can tell Dede Korkut stories with a theatric exposition for couple of hours. I guess I am trying to be a traveler minstrel, writing pieces for each soil I set foot once.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am travelling to Japan for two months and I would like to meet with local people to pursue a good knowledge on culture. This will be my first very long alone travel, so I always look forward for some interesting characters that I can learn new things. Of course knowledge exchange is the most important :)
